Gilbert works as a project assistant at the Jahn Research Group. His main responsibilities include providing administrative support and assisting in a range of activities including; general document and digital material management, preparation of associated travel reimbursement documentation, and backstopping the team in various projects.

Gilbert is originally from Atlanta, GA. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Gilbert moved to San Antonio, TX, to complete a gap year with City Year AmeriCorps as an 8 th grade English tutor. Gilbert is currently a second-year law student at the University of Wisconsin. As a law student, he serves as a member of the Moot Court Board and president of the Intellectual Property Student Organization.
