Dr. Robb Randall leads the CCDC–Army Research Laboratory’s (ARL) Atmospheric Science Center, the Battlefield Environment Division’s entity managing and coordinating ARL’s open campus initiative, bringing together government, industry, and academia for the mission of advancing atmospheric science and its application to critical defense technologies through a collaborative, innovative research ecosystem.
Prior to his current position Dr. Randall served as the Senior Climate Scientist, 14th Weather Squadron USAF. He represented the unit as the Air Force’s principal authority on climate science matters.
Dr. Randall is a retired Air Force Officer, with 33 years of service and experience. He served as a Squadron Commander, in Special Operations, in an Operational Weather Squadron, as a FOA Military Deputy Director and Division Chief, Advisor to the Iraqi Air Force Staff, and an Air Force Institute of Technology Professor of Atmospheric Physics.
